Peningkatan Literasi Keuangan UMKM melalui Penerapan Sistem Akuntansi Berbasis Komputer di Cafe RIC Medan

Abstrak

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have an important role in economic growth, but still face challenges in effective financial management. One of the main causes is low financial literacy and unsystematic financial records. This study aims to improve MSME financial literacy through the implementation of a computer-based accounting system at Cafe RIC Medan. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with analysis before and after system implementation. The results of the study show that the implementation of a computer-based accounting system improves business owners' understanding of financial reports, efficiency of transaction recording, and accuracy in financial decision making. With this system, MSMEs can more easily access accurate and real-time financial information, thereby increasing business sustainability. Therefore, the adoption of technology in accounting records is one of the effective solutions in improving financial literacy and management for MSME actors.
