Abstract

Waiting time is the time used by patients to receive outpatient and inpatient services from the registration point to entering the doctor's examination room. Service to patients and the length of time patients wait in obtaining services can affect patient satisfaction and the quality of hospital services. The waiting time required to wait for services is a significant factor in patient satisfaction. Good and quality service is reflected in friendly, fast, and comfortable service. Outpatient services start from the patient arriving, taking the queue number, waiting at the registration area until called for registration or registration and waiting at the destination polyclinic until called for examination services. Standard waiting time according to Service Standards Minimum provision of medical record documents for hospital outpatient services is 60 minutes. It is called fast if the waiting time is less than or equal to 60 minutes, and it is called long if the waiting time is more than 60 minutes. The purpose of this study was to find out. The purpose of this study was to determine how long it takes to provide outpatient medical record documents at RSUD dr. H. High Cliff Pane Collection. The method used in this research is interview. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling. Waiting time for outpatient services at RSUD dr. H. Pane set > 60 minutes. This is in accordance with the SOP where medical records. Based on this, hospitals need to improve employee performance and have a written SOP for how long the outpatient service will take at the hospital in the future.
