Background: Psoriasis is a chronic immune-mediated inflammatory skin disease characterized by well-demarcated erythematous plaques and papules covered with silvery-white scales. It is a common dermatological condition affecting more than 125 million people worldwide. Psoriasis can occur at any age, from infancy to late adulthood, with the average age of onset ranging from 15 to 20 years and a second incidence peak occurring between 55 and 60 years of age. The disease most commonly involves the knees, elbows, lumbosacral region, scalp, and genital area; however, any part of the body may be affected. Objective: This study aims to determine profile of psoriasis patients in the Dermatology and Venereology Polyclinic of Wulan Windy Hospital, Medan, from January 2021 to December 2024 Method: This study is a retrospective descriptive study based on medical record data from new patients who were treated at the Dermatology and Venereology Polyclinic, Wulan Windy Hospital, Medan, in the period 2021-2024. Results: This study found that the incidence of psoriasis at the Wulan Windy General Hospital's Dermatology and Venereology Polyclinic was 63 cases from 2021 to 2024. The results showed that 37 (58.7%) of psoriasis patients were male and 26 (41.3%) were female.
